The worst part about being a UK Oscars fan is trying to avoid all the results the next day before you can watch it.

It’s surprisingly tough.

You can’t go on any social media, and lots of corners of the web.

And if I was in the office today I’d for sure see spoilers via the many TVs dotted around the place.

I could stay up late and watch it live of course. But I’ve only done that one or twice. It’s just that tad too late. And you can’t skip through the adverts.

So today I’m going to be avoiding spoilers as best I can.

One fun element of this year is that me and my girlfriend have both ‘bet’ on each category. Whoever gets the most right is going to get something, as yet undecided.
